With the advent of big data research techniques in recent years, evidence regarding risks, costs, and benefits is being gathered in a more objective and statistical manner. In this session, Anna M. Sawka from the University of Toronto, Canada, who is the editor-in-chief of Thyroid journal, Prof. Mijin Kim from Pusan National University, and Prof. Kyeong Jin Kim from Korea University will deliver lectures and engage in discussions on various issues concerning the quality of life for patients with thyroid disease.
